This Privacy Policy explains how Faith AI: Bible & Chat ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the app.
1. Information We Collect
- Account and identifiers: Firebase user ID, anonymous auth ID, and technical identifiers needed to run the service.
- Profile/onboarding data: interests you select in onboarding (for personalization).
- Chat data: chat titles, messages you send, AI responses, and metadata (timestamps, chat IDs).
- Subscription and purchase data: entitlement/subscription status and purchase-related data via RevenueCat and Apple.
- Analytics and attribution data: app events and attribution data collected by Firebase Analytics and AppsFlyer.
- Device and diagnostics data: app version, device type, OS version, and technical logs required for reliability and fraud/rate-limit protection.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide app features, including AI chat, Learn content, and quizzes.
- Personalize content based on onboarding interests.
- Manage subscriptions and verify access to premium features.
- Measure performance, attribution, and product usage.
- Detect abuse, enforce rate limits, and keep the service secure.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
We do not use chat content for advertising purposes.
3. Services We Use
- Firebase (Google): authentication, database/storage, analytics.
- RevenueCat: subscription infrastructure, subscription status, and entitlement management.
- AppsFlyer: attribution and marketing analytics.
These providers may process data under their own privacy terms and security controls.
4. Tracking and ATT (iOS)
On iOS, we request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission where required. If tracking is allowed, this may include the use of advertising identifiers (such as IDFA), AppsFlyer ID, and device-related data for attribution and campaign measurement.
Data used for analytics and attribution is processed in a pseudonymous manner and is not directly linked to a specific user identity.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the app (such as Firebase, RevenueCat, and AppsFlyer), and only for legitimate business purposes described here.
6. Data Retention
We retain data for as long as needed to provide the app, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request account deletion in the app, which triggers deletion flows for account-related data we control.
7. Your Choices
- You can choose whether to grant ATT permission on iOS.
- You can manage subscription purchases through your Apple ID settings.
- You can request account deletion from within the app (where available).
8. Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers operate.
